This special event will be held right in the midst of the space we are restoring, renovating and rejuvenating to expand the available operating space of the Westchester Children's Museum - Funds raised from this event do the important job of supporting the Museum’s operations, keeping admission costs low, adding new educational programs and exhibits, and ensuring that the Museum remains a vibrant and welcoming environment for all children in our region
Construction Underway to Expand the Operating Space of the Museum Construction crews are on site and busy working to transform the remaining 16,000 square feet of unimproved space in our site (referred to as the historic Playland North Bathhouse) into operating space for new exhibits, an expanded makerspace gallery, gift shop, additional restrooms and support staff offices. In the photos here you see framing going up! The project is scheduled for completion in early July. We will maintain normal operating hours throughout construction, with one or two occasions when we may modify our schedule in order to facilitate elements of the project. Watch our website and facebookpage for updates. We look forward to growing the Museum and appreciate your support throughout the process!
