We are printmaking hats and mittens this month using a fun and easy technique called Jelly Printing. Kids will be rolling out paint and then drawing in designs on a jelly printing plate. All ages welcome

Watch what happens if we drop the temperature of a flower or a gummy worm to more than 100 degrees below zero! See soap bubbles float on a pillow of carbon dioxide gas! Hear a quarter scream! These and more activities explore the amazing properties of dry ice

Michael Albert: Cerealism and Collage Works
Special Exhibit in the Lavan Family Gallery, Opens January 9
Westchester-based, internationally-recognized pop artist Michael Albert is synonymous with collage art. His colorful, energetic collages, made from cereal boxes & other printed cardboard packages of consumer products, are full of images and elements of our everyday consumer life which kids recognize. The Collage works feature history, literature, math and iconic imagery that will give children a lot to discover

The Museum is partnering with Melissa & Doug Toys and Scattered Books of Chappaqua, NY, to offer a colorful, engaging selection of toys and books for infants through middle school-aged children. The shop features books curated by Scattered Books, for our youngest visitors to middle school readers. Our toy selection, offered exclusively by Melissa & Doug, will feature the puzzles, toys, and imagination-building playsets that the company is known for. A portion of proceeds from shop sales will support the Museum's educational programs.
